WHAT’S AN HBCU BATTLE OF THE BRAINS?
The HBCU Battle of the Brains is a hybrid between a “Hackathon” and a “Case Competition” where teams from HBCUs across the country will develop a solution to a complex issue, then pitch that solution in front of judges, as well as a live audience.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Registration for the HBCU Battle of the Brains is free! However, travel and lodging are the responsibility of each participating school. Meals and snacks will be provided to participating students during the competition.
DOES THIS EVENT REQUIRE AN ESCORT?
No. The HBCU Battle of the Brains does not require that teams be escorted by a university official. However, we welcome university Presidents, administrators, and faculty to participate in this event. There will be much that engages them as well.
WHEN IS THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE?
The deadline for registration is Friday, March 3, 2017.
