Angela Brown is a Senior Social Strategist at GSD&M where she works with multiple clients to use strategic thinking to position their presence in the most impactful ways online. She loves using her expertise to keep the brands she represents aware of what’s happening in the social and cultural landscape of the internet and works with the GSD&M team to put into practice social tactics that inform creative brand work for clients across multiple industries. Whatever she can do to bring cultural influence and storytelling to the spaces that she occupies, she’s all in. Her most recent work involves speaking at Brandweek and being a part of the social strategic social duo that put the Chicken Sandwich on the cultural map for Popeyes with the “Yall Good” campaign.
Her past work involves working with clients in the hospitality industry, automotive, diversity and inclusion projects during SXSW and in the B2B space running social for byRegina.com (now betaandbeyond.com). She has a love for anything involving understanding different cultures around the world/in the U.S., pop-culture, art, media, and entertainment, and you can always find her getting lost in the rabbit hole that is Twitter or binging the latest show or movie on Netflix.
