Chauncey Hamlett is the CMO for Pepsi Beverages South Division. In this role since February 2019. He is responsible for leading a team of marketer’s across Brand Building, Shopper Marketing, Sports Marketing, Consumer Insights and Innovation. While also overseeing all marketing efforts for South Division franchise partnerships.
Prior to this position, Chauncey, a 10-year PepsiCo Beverages veteran, was Head of Strategy, Innovation and Commercial for the Mountain Dew Brand. In this role, he led to the creation of Mtn Dew GameFuel a targeted Beverage Platform for E-Sports
Chauncey previously held several Marketing roles including Head of Consumer Engagement for Mountain Dew, where he led the creative development of the ICE/Doritos award-winning Super Bowl Commercial that featured Morgan Freeman, Peter Dinklage, Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliott, The NBA Partnership in which he created and launched the Courtside Studios with Comedic Rockstar Kevin Hart. And all brand Lifestyle Platforms Action Sports, Racing and Outdoors. Prior to that, he was the Sr. Director of Portfolio strategy where he led the creation of the Beverage Portfolio Packaging Team.
Chauncey recently returned to the organization after spending 10 years in the Luxury Spirits industry working on brands such as Patron, Grey Goose, Bombay Sapphire and Double Cross Vodka in which he co-owned. While at Grey Goose Chauncey led the creation of the Grey Goose Rising Icons Platform & TV Show which is considered one of the first breakthrough Branded Content platforms in the spirits space and it helped launch the careers of some of the biggest music stars on the scene today such as (J Cole, Wale, Big Sean, Future, Jeremiah, B.O.B, Bruno Mars, Ellie Goulding, Miguel, Solange, The Killers, Kid Cudi and Chrissette Michelle to name a few. His last effort in the Spirits space was creating The Super Premium Dussé Cognac in partnership with music mogul Jay Z. Which is now the fastest-growing Cognac in the world. Chauncey has been considered at the forefront of culture with his ability to merge brand strategy with Music, Sports and Lifestyle.
Chauncey is currently on the PepsiCo National Mosaic Board and The Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle. Chauncey was recently awarded a PepsiCo Chairmen’s Award for his work in the community.
